Spectrum's annual Fun Run and Walk will take place on June 28, 2009.

The distances are 2km, 5km, and 8km and will be circuits returning to the starting point at the Spectrum Centre at 10 Leanne Crescent, Lawnton. This is a terrific family event with random prizes, early bird entry draws and a morning full of food, entertainment and fun.

Early bird entries and prices closed at 4pm on 18th June. If you registered before this time, your pre-race package including bib number can be collected from Struddys Sports Strathpine, 709-713 Gympie Rd, Lawnton - Ph 3205 6897. These will be available from Struddys until 5pm on Saturday 27th June. For those who did not collect their packs, they will be available on the morning of the event between 6:45am and 7:45am.

If you have registered for the Fun Run & Walk since 18th June, your bib number will be available from Spectrum on the morning of the event between 6:45am and 7:45am.

On-the-day registrations (including all entries after the 18th June) will be at the following prices:

• Adult - $20
• Child/student/concession - $10
• Family of 2 adults and 3 children - $40

Maps of each distance, and pins for your bibs will be available on the morning of the event. A preview of the map can be obtained by downloading the PDF entry form.

6:45am - Registrations commence
7:45am - Registrations close
7:50am - Warm Up
8:05am - All participants line up at starting line
8:10am -  2km, 5km and 8km all begin together
9:30am - Presentations
